How do I subscribe to Everlog Premium?
Navigate to Settings > Everlog Premium and select Monthly, Annual, or Lifetime plans.
Do I have to subscribe on each device?
No. Subscriptions link to your Apple ID and activate across all devices using the same credentials. Family Sharing is supported.
Does Everlog Premium support Family Sharing?
Yes. All plans, including Lifetime, support Family Sharing, automatically granting access to family members.
What happens if my Premium subscription expires?
Sync disables but your data persists in iCloud. Extra journals remain, but you can only write new entries in the default journal until you resubscribe.
How do I sync with other devices?
Activate Premium, then enable syncing on each device via Settings > Sync. Sync time depends on your journal and entry volume.
Is my data encrypted in iCloud?
Yes. Your data is encrypted in your private iCloud. For end-to-end encryption, enable "Advanced Data Protection" in your iCloud settings.
How do I troubleshoot sync issues?
Verify matching Apple IDs across devices, enable sync everywhere, check iCloud Drive is active, review the Sync status screen, ensure internet connectivity, and restart the app if needed. Contact support if the issue persists.
How do I navigate to a different date quickly?
Swipe left or right to move by week or month. Long-press the title bar to open a date picker for larger jumps.
How do I start entries with attachments or audio?
Long-press the + button and choose photo, audio, or file. You can customize this menu in Settings > General > Floating Button.
How do I use Journaling Suggestions?
Tap the paperclip in the Editor, select "Journaling Suggestions," and choose from photos, videos, workouts, songs, podcasts, locations, or prompts. You can also long-press the + button for direct access.
What are comments and how do I use them?
Comments are nested entries for annotations or reflections. Add them via the speech bubble icon in the Editor, or long-press and swipe entries from the Timeline.
How can I import journals from Day One?
Go to Settings > Import > Import Day One File and select your Day One Export .zip or .json file.
