Importing from Another App

Supported import sources

Everlog supports importing from the following apps:

• Day One — JSON or ZIP export
• Apple Journal — Folder export
• Journey — ZIP export
• Diarly — ZIP export
• Stoic — ZIP export
• Card Diary — ZIP export
• WrittenDown — ZIP export
• Mini Diary — JSON or ZIP export

How to import

1. Export from your current app — Check your app’s settings for an export option. Most apps export as ZIP or JSON.
2. Open Everlog and go to Settings > Import
3. Select your source app from the list
4. Choose the file you exported
5. Select a journal to import into (or create a new one)
6. Wait for the import to complete

Tips

• Large imports (1000+ entries) may take a few minutes. Keep the app open during import.
• Photos, videos, and other attachments are imported when available in the export file.
• Tags and metadata are preserved where possible.
• If you run into issues, try re-exporting from the source app with the latest version.
