Troubleshooting

App is slow or unresponsive

  1. Close and reopen Everlog
  2. Restart your device
  3. Check for updates — make sure you’re running the latest version from the App Store
  4. If the issue persists, contact support

Entries not syncing

Quick checklist:

  • Premium subscription active?
  • iCloud enabled on both devices?
  • Same Apple ID on both devices?
  • Internet connection working?
  • iCloud storage not full?

Import failed

  • Make sure the export file matches the format Everlog expects (ZIP or JSON, depending on the source app)
  • Try re-exporting from the source app with the latest version
  • For large exports, ensure you have enough free storage on your device
  • See the Import guide for detailed instructions

Lost entries

Everlog saves entries automatically as you type. If entries seem missing:

  1. Check all journals — the entry may be in a different journal
  2. Use search — search for keywords from the entry
  3. Check the calendar — browse to the date you wrote the entry
  4. If using sync, check other devices — the entry may not have synced yet

Contact support

If none of the above helps, email us with:

  • Your device model and iOS/macOS version
  • Everlog version (found in Settings > About)
  • A description of the issue
  • Screenshots if possible
