Import to Everlog

Switch to Everlog

Moving to Everlog is easy. We support importing from all major journaling apps, so your entries, photos, and memories come with you.

Supported apps

Day One

Day One exports as JSON or ZIP. To import:

  1. In Day One, go to Settings > Export > JSON
  2. Save the exported file
  3. In Everlog, go to Settings > Import > Day One
  4. Select the exported file

Your entries, photos, tags, and metadata will be imported.

Apple Journal

Apple Journal exports as a folder. To import:

  1. In Apple Journal, export your entries
  2. In Everlog, go to Settings > Import > Apple Journal
  3. Select the exported folder

Journey

Journey exports as a ZIP file. To import:

  1. In Journey, go to Settings > Export as ZIP
  2. In Everlog, go to Settings > Import > Journey
  3. Select the ZIP file

Diarly

Diarly exports as a ZIP file. To import:

  1. In Diarly, export your journal
  2. In Everlog, go to Settings > Import > Diarly
  3. Select the ZIP file

Stoic

Stoic exports as a ZIP file. To import:

  1. In Stoic, export your data
  2. In Everlog, go to Settings > Import > Stoic
  3. Select the ZIP file

Card Diary

  1. In Card Diary, export your journal as ZIP
  2. In Everlog, go to Settings > Import > Card Diary
  3. Select the ZIP file

WrittenDown

  1. In WrittenDown, export as ZIP
  2. In Everlog, go to Settings > Import > WrittenDown
  3. Select the ZIP file

Mini Diary

Mini Diary exports as JSON or ZIP. To import:

  1. Export from Mini Diary
  2. In Everlog, go to Settings > Import > Mini Diary
  3. Select the file

Tips for a smooth import

  • Update both apps to their latest versions before exporting/importing
  • Large imports (1000+ entries) may take several minutes — keep Everlog open
  • Choose a journal — you’ll select which journal to import into (or create a new one)
  • Duplicates — Everlog will warn you if it detects possible duplicate entries
